Responsibilities
- Observe each child closely to support physical, intellectual, and emotional development
- Prepare and maintain an orderly classroom that fosters concentration and independence
- Encourage self-confidence by supporting children in self-led learning
- Provide individualized and small-group lessons in practical life, literacy, and math
- Build respectful relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Lead the classroom with warmth, professionalism, and purpose
Requirements
- Montessori diploma for ages 0–6, or willingness to obtain certification
- Experience working with children ages 0–6 in a group setting
- Alignment with child-led philosophies like Montessori or Reggio Emilia
- Required ECE or Child Development credits
- Bachelor’s degree in ECE or Child Development
