Lead Teacher

Responsibilities

• Observe each child closely to support physical, intellectual, and emotional development
• Prepare and maintain an orderly classroom that fosters concentration and independence
• Encourage self-confidence by supporting children in self-led learning
• Provide individualized and small-group lessons in practical life, literacy, and math
• Build respectful relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Lead the classroom with warmth, professionalism, and purpose

Requirements

• Montessori diploma for ages 0–6, or willingness to obtain certification
• Experience working with children ages 0–6 in a group setting
• Alignment with child-led philosophies like Montessori or Reggio Emilia
• Required ECE or Child Development credits
• Bachelor’s degree in ECE or Child Development
