Lead - Systems, Waveforms

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Project Engineer leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver novel products and capabilities
• Manage the Waveform System Team (WST) including System and Test Engineers
• Perform hands-on system engineering, analysis, integration, and verification work
• Define project scope and communicate requirements through system and sub-system definitions
• Ensure the WST staff has the necessary training and infrastructure for efficient waveform verification
• Lead development of novel capabilities and ensure they are systematically verified

Requirements

• BS degree or higher from an accredited university
• 5-10 years of experience in system engineering and test planning/execution
• Experience managing direct reports
• Expertise in wireless communications and systems integration testing
• Knowledge of physical layer components (error-correcting codes, modulation, power amplifiers, filters)
• Understanding of MAC protocols (TDMA, CSMA) and networking (UDP, TCP)
• Proficiency in programming languages including C, Python, and Shell
• Experience with test automation, REST API, and SQL programming
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency
