Lead Systems Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design digital and analog signal conditioning circuits and select COTs hardware for test consoles
• Develop manufacturing test software using LabVIEW and manage configuration management systems
• Create technical drawings to document test console designs and support physical builds
• Mentor electrical technicians during assembly and sustainment processes
• Manage project schedules, communicate risks, and ensure on-time delivery to program milestones
• Perform root cause analysis and administer corrective actions for hardware and software issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in test engineering, electrical design, or software development
• Proficiency with LabVIEW software development
• U.S. person status (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status) required due to export control laws

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with automated test consoles, data acquisition hardware, and mechanical transducers
• Knowledge of communication busses including MIL-STD-1553, RS422/485, RS232, Ethernet, and GPIB
• Experience with TestStand, Python, C++, or Real-Time Operating Systems
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5-why, fishbone, 8-D)
• Experience architecting automated test solutions using National Instruments development kits
