Lead Systems Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform CI/CD administration and infrastructure management for tools including JFrog Artifactory, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Harness
• Manage lifecycle activities such as upgrades, capacity planning, vulnerability remediation, and BCP exercises
• Respond to and resolve system incidents to maintain high availability and stability
• Maintain SLAs, uptime, and incident response triage workflows
• Create and maintain operational runbooks for standard incident categories and problem management
• Operate with an SRE mindset by establishing metrics for capacity and performance and automating manual support activities
• Review and enhance monitoring, logging, dashboards, and health checks for supported infrastructure
• Participate in on-call schedules to ensure continuous coverage

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture, or equivalent
• Expertise in CI/CD tool infrastructure operations (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness, Artifactory, etc.)
• Strong understanding of SDLC tooling, including artifact repositories, enterprise proxies, and security controls
• Experience with monitoring, alert configurations, log analysis, and incident management
• Experience supporting CI/CD tools deployed on-premise and in the cloud using Kubernetes and Virtual Machines

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for automating infrastructure operations
• Hands-on experience supporting GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code
• Experience using observability and monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or ThousandEyes
