Lead Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish, document, and maintain systems engineering management process documentation (SEMP, TEMP, Concept of Operations)
• Create and maintain the Integration and Implementation Plan (IIP)
• Support technical integration within all functional areas and integrated product teams
• Facilitate and support Technical Review Boards (TRBs)
• Coordinate technical and business integration across stakeholders and third-party contractors
• Develop and maintain IT planning and strategy documents
• Validate systems engineering designs and plans
• Drive the implementation of scaled agile methodologies across multi-team delivery environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in technical and management leadership for systems engineering
• Expert experience in systems engineering management across the full lifecycle
• Demonstrated ability to author SEMP, TEMP, IIP, and Concept of Operations documentation
• Experience driving technical integration across a System of Systems (SoS)
• Strong background implementing scaled agile methodologies
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or Google)
• Agile certification (Scrum or SAFe)
• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
• Experience with large-scale federal modernization or data-centric cloud transformation
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and cloud-native architecture
