Lead Systems Designer

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Systems and Missions design team, overseeing daily operations and workflow.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and career development for team members.
• Execute a well-defined vision for system rules, features, and regular content to sustain user engagement.
• Lead large system initiatives and manage roadmaps for both cyclical and standalone gameplay content.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Engineering, UI/UX, Data, QA, and LiveOps.
• Analyze data and player feedback to iterate on, balance, and innovate game systems.
• Identify systemic risks and opportunities within the game and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with an emphasis on game design.
• 7+ years of game design experience on commercially successful properties.
• Proven experience managing designers, schedules, roadmaps, or KPIs.
• Extensive experience with Free to Play mobile markets, ideally in RPGs or ARPGs.
• Experience working on Live Operated titles.
• Strong data analysis skills and the ability to use insights to optimize mechanics.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with project and/or gameplay content pipeline management.
• Deep understanding of player psychology and retention strategies.
