Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to design, build, and test RF hardware systems and field-deployable prototypes
- Quantify system performance objectives, metrics, dependencies, and risks
- Lead the design of RF hardware systems, including antennas, positioners, cables, and transceiver assemblies
- Manage integration and testing of complete RF systems including waveguides, processing hardware, and control software
- Conduct performance trade studies and hardware architecture analyses
- Develop component and system test plans to verify compliance with requirements
- Conduct over-the-air system demonstrations and performance reporting
- Collaborate with signal processing, mechanical, and software teams to resolve technical issues
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience with RF components and subsystems (T/R modules, antennas, amplifiers, etc.)
- Experience developing requirements and verification plans for complex systems
- Proficiency in RF system analysis including link budget and transceiver architectures
- Experience in RF testing and characterization from component to system level
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or other high-level programming languages
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI Clearance
- Advanced degree in a relevant technical discipline
- Experience with EM Field Solvers such as ANSYS HFSS or Sonnet
- Expertise in electronic warfare applications (electronic attack, electronic protection, cognitive EW)
- Experience with RF Integrated Circuits and high-power RF design
- Knowledge of C/C++, FPGA hardware inference, and EMI/EMC debugging
