About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows servers, client systems, backup systems, network infrastructure, and databases
- Support engineering applications, processes, and databases for systems at the local site and across the WAN
- Build, configure, and maintain physical and virtual Windows and Linux servers
- Perform regular system updates, patching, and hardening activities to ensure compliance
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver effective technical solutions
- Communicate complex technical issues and risks to management and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years of prior related experience
- Or 12 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
- Current active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Windows System/Network Administrator in an enterprise-level domain
- Experience managing Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Experience supporting Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases
- Proficiency in PowerShell and networking protocols
- Experience with Commvault or similar enterprise backup systems
- Experience with VMware or similar virtualization platforms
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience managing systems in compliance with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
