Lead Supply Chain Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the supply chain by identifying mandatory and recommended prime contract flow-down clauses for vendor contract templates.
• Review project contract templates to ensure adherence to specific project requirements.
• Assist in the development of company-wide procurement templates.
• Provide training on negotiation, contracts, and terms and conditions as needed.
• Negotiate high-risk contracts and provide initial legal review for project teams.
• Serve as a liaison between the procurement team and legal counsel to resolve commercial issues.
• Resolve escalated, complex, or disputed contract issues.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and manage supplier-specific template negotiations.
• Interface with business, legal, risk, tax, and internal procurement departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of negotiation experience.
• Advanced knowledge in risk evaluation, claims mitigation, and dispute resolution.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Ability to travel periodically for short durations.
• Strong detail orientation and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal training or transactional/commercial management experience.
