Lead Subsea Pipeline Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual and FEED engineering for subsea pipelines and risers
• Develop Pipeline Design Basis (BoD) and specifications for line pipes and coatings
• Generate MTO for subsea pipeline corrosion protection and AC mitigation systems
• Prepare reports for subsea end expansion, buckling, free span, and stability analyses
• Develop and review subsea pipeline route drawings, alignment sheets, and tie-in details
• Carry out wall thickness design and hydrodynamic analyses
• Participate in risk assessments such as HAZID and HAZOP
• Provide engineering oversight for third-party contractors and service providers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Ocean, or Offshore Engineering
• 10–12 years of experience in subsea pipeline design and engineering
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (DNV, API, ISO, ASME)
• Proficiency in engineering software such as OrcaFlex, OFFPIPE, or Caesar II
• Familiarity with pipeline construction vessels and offshore operations
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LNG projects and SEA project standards
• Knowledge of ArcGIS or similar GIS software
• Experience with Autodesk Navisworks or Bentley ProjectWise
• Proficiency in FEA software like Abaqus or Ansys
