Lead, Subcontracts

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts, including sourcing, acquisition strategy, solicitation, negotiation, award, and closeout
• Drive major subcontract execution regarding cost, schedule, technical, and quality requirements
• Develop subcontract requirements and Statements of Work (SOW)
• Manage supplier cost and schedule performance in collaboration with engineering teams
• Oversee change management, risk mitigation, and management of customer/government-owned property
• Analyze complex program changes and communicate effectively to Supply Chain Executive Leadership
• Support government, customer, and internal audits as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience (or Graduate Degree with 7 years)
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Procurement and/or Subcontracts
• 7 years of experience using MRP systems software
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) as a Cost Account Manager
• Subject Matter Expertise in contract types (FFP, Cost Reimbursement, T&M, etc.) and government proposals
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements, ITAR, EAR, and international trade compliance
• Experience reviewing technical SOWs and managing program risk
• Experience with intellectual property (IP) and patent requirements
• Lean Six Sigma experience
