Lead Studio Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair critical broadcasting components to ensure peak system efficiency
• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of issues involving broadcast and IT equipment
• Collaborate with technology suppliers on setup, upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting
• Program and customize equipment software functionality
• Work with Network Ops leadership to address operational issues and facilitate technical decision-making
• Provide input and recommendations for disaster recovery and system planning
• Track and assist users with equipment issues, escalating or monitoring resolutions as necessary

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of previous IT and/or broadcast engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with live television production
• Thorough knowledge of digital audio/video workflows and distribution
• Experience with C/Ku band satellite uplink and downlink systems
• Previous television engineering experience
• Experience managing vendor support relations
