About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level technical guidance for complex building and infrastructure projects across multiple sectors.
  • Lead the research, design, concept development, and construction of load-bearing structures.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, and planners to execute project work, including budget and schedule management.
  • Coordinate, review, and approve design plans to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.
  • Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • Mentor and manage junior engineers in a team-oriented environment.
  • Perform site investigations and implement site Health and Safety Plans (HASPs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in structural or civil design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as ETABS or RAM.
  • Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • Strong technical writing and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Structural Engineering (SE) license.
