Lead Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and plan work within the project's calculation group
• Compile and document calculation tasks with clear scope, responsibility distribution, and schedule
• Coordinate calculation work with other handlers and report regularly to project managers
• Ensure quality through self-checks, reviews, and documented walkthroughs
• Participate in external meetings and contribute to good communication with clients and side consultants
• Identify and report needs for additional calculation work or changed directives

Requirements

• Civil engineering degree
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a calculation engineer in structural design (concrete, steel, and wood)
• Documented experience leading technical teams and coordinating calculation work
• Ability to make decisions based on facts and experience
• Structured approach to documentation and quality assurance
• Swedish citizenship and eligibility for security clearance
