About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee structural design delivery and ensure accuracy of drawings prepared by draughtsmen
- Develop and prepare structural analysis models for various projects
- Perform structural calculations using manual methods or software based on Indian codes
- Conduct site visits to check reinforcement and ensure construction adheres to design
- Coordinate with clients regarding design requirements, feedback, and technical discussions
- Support lead design-related decisions and participate in technical reviews
- Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MoM) for design review sessions
- Ensure quality assurance of input data and final drawings
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in RCC structural design
- B.E. in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Structures preferred)
- Core expertise in RCC structural design of buildings and towers
- Proficiency with design tools such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, and SAFE
- Familiarity with Indian design codes including IS456 and IS875
- Strong communication and coordination skills
