Lead Structural Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all structural engineering activities for the Offshore Project at Umm Shaif Super Complex USSC
• Serve as the primary technical authority for structural engineering activities, ensuring adherence to ADNOC and international standards
• Lead structural engineering governance for integrating package equipment including compressors, dryers, and skid structures
• Perform brownfield structural assessments, including deck load capacity and reinforcement needs
• Review EPC contractor structural analyses such as FEA, fatigue, and vibration assessments
• Lead 3D model structural validation using AVEVA E3D/PDMS or SP3D
• Provide oversight for lifting, rigging, and installation engineering
• Review and approve structural drawings, fabrication drawings, and MTOs
• Provide QA/QC and fabrication oversight to ensure material traceability and weld quality
• Support construction and commissioning through field modification guidance and as-built validation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Mandatory ADNOC Offshore approval or eligibility
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC Projects
• Mandatory offshore experience, preferably with brownfield platform projects
• Proficiency in SACS, STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Navisworks, AVEVA E3D, or SP3D
• Strong knowledge of offshore steel structure design and ADNOC Offshore standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Offshore structural design training
• Chartered Engineer status (PE / CEng)
