Lead Strategic Sourcing

Responsibilities

• Negotiate commercial and legal contracts for goods and services to support US manufacturing operations
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans based on market knowledge and business requirements
• Act as the primary commercial expert and contact for target suppliers during negotiations
• Perform financial analysis and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from initial negotiation through implementation and adoption
• Create and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure supplier performance and value delivery
• Develop long-term strategic alliances and partnerships with the vendor base

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management
• 6 years of industrial procurement experience, specifically in supply chain strategy and national negotiations
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office
• Strong financial analysis skills, including understanding of economic profit, cash flow, and TCO
• Proven ability to influence and negotiate in a team-based, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
