Lead Strategic Sourcing CAPEX

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of process equipment, construction, and professional services for Capital Expenditure Projects (CAPEX)
• Coordinate the full bidding process, including preparing bid packages, scheduling pre-bid meetings, and conducting vendor evaluations
• Negotiate commercial terms including price, liquid damages, guarantees, warranties, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Collaborate with Legal and Risk Management departments to finalize contractual terms and execute vendor contracts
• Monitor project development against contractual terms and provide support to the Accounting department for payment resolution
• Generate purchase orders within the ERP system and report savings achieved through negotiations
• Establish and implement procedures for CAPEX and Plant Procurement to coordinate group efforts on capital projects
• Manage and coordinate CAPEX negotiators and expeditors on major projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in engineering projects within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience managing relationships with cross-functional groups and external suppliers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the building materials industry
• Familiarity with formal purchasing processes
• SAP experience
• CPSM certification
