About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve end-to-end partnership strategy for PSPs, issuing banks, and financial institutions
  • Identify, evaluate, and advance strategic alliances with global PSPs, acquirers, and card networks
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles from prospecting to commercial negotiation and contracting
  • Drive net-new revenue through the Payments product portfolio and direct issuer integrations
  • Partner with Product and R&D to translate partner needs into actionable product requirements
  • Mentor and coach junior business development team members
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in payments, fraud, and identity

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales within Financial Services or payments
  • Proven track record of closing complex multi-million-dollar deals with financial institutions
  • Deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem including PSPs, acquirers, issuers, and card networks
  • Executive presence with ability to build trust at the C-suite level
  • Outstanding communication and visual storytelling skills
  • Ability to travel 20–30% including internationally
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience partnering with global PSPs like Mastercard, Stripe, or Adyen
  • Background in issuer development, 3DS, or open banking
  • Established senior relationships across the PSP and issuing bank ecosystem
  • MBA or equivalent degree
  • Public speaking or thought leadership experience
