Lead Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a welcoming environment and coach the team on exceptional service
• Drive consultative selling, upselling, and customer loyalty through rewards programs
• Execute opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and daily huddles
• Manage inventory integrity through precise transaction processing and regular audits
• Train new hires and provide real-time coaching and feedback to drive performance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant store environment following SOPs and state regulations

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing or sales experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience with POS systems and cash handling
• Minimum 6 months of retail leadership experience
• Minimum 6 months of experience in retail store operations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory management and systematic restocking
• Background in a sales role focused on tracking KPIs
• Previous experience within a regulated retail setting
