Lead Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a welcoming environment and coach the team to deliver exceptional service
• Drive consultative selling, upselling, and customer loyalty through rewards program enrollment
• Execute opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and daily huddles
• Maintain inventory integrity through precise transaction processing, counts, and audits
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, and state regulations
• Train new hires and provide real-time coaching and feedback to drive performance
• Delegate tasks effectively and act as the leader in the absence of management

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer-facing or sales environments
• Minimum 1 year of experience with POS systems and cash handling
• Minimum 6 months of retail leadership experience
• Minimum 6 months of retail store operations experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights
• Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of inventory management and systematic restocking
• Background in a sales role focused on tracking KPIs
• Previous experience within a regulated retail setting
