Lead Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a welcoming environment and coach the team to deliver exceptional service
• Drive consultative selling, upselling, and customer loyalty through rewards program enrollment
• Execute opening and closing duties, including daily huddles and cash reconciliation
• Ensure inventory integrity through precise transaction processing, order fulfillment, and audits
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant store environment following SOPs and state regulations
• Train new hires and provide real-time coaching and feedback to drive team performance
• Act as the go-to leader in the absence of store management and support conflict resolution

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED certificate
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer-facing or sales environments
• Minimum 1 year of experience with POS systems and cash handling
• Minimum 6 months of retail leadership experience
• Minimum 6 months of retail store operations experience (opening/closing/reconciliation)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights
• Strong leadership, communication, and de-escalation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of inventory management and systematic restocking
• Background in a sales role focused on tracking KPIs and meeting targets
• Previous experience within a regulated retail setting
