Lead Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations in the absence of management
• Assist store management with action plans and personnel development
• Lead, develop, and supervise the team to achieve high performance
• Stock shelves and displays following merchandising planograms
• Utilize POS system to process customer purchases
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely
• Execute opening and closing duties as a keyholder
• Delegate tasks to associates, cashiers, and stockers
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards
• Ensure a safe working environment by identifying unsafe conditions
• Perform general cleaning tasks

Requirements

• Ability to develop rapport and open communication
• Ability to work independently and lead personnel
• Ability to implement Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to operate store equipment including cash registers and pallet jacks
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete activities
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
• At least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a retail environment
• Prior management experience
