Lead Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Act as a keyholder responsible for independently opening and closing the store in the absence of management
• Lead, develop, and supervise associates, stockers, and cashiers to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction
• Delegate tasks and oversee the completion of daily duties to maintain store standards
• Resolve employee and customer concerns, escalating to store management when necessary
• Assist with merchandising by stocking shelves and displays according to planograms
• Process customer purchases accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving items and ensuring timely delivery to customers
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by identifying hazards and performing general cleaning tasks
• Adhere to all company policies regarding cash handling, inventory, and loss prevention

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift, carry, and place products weighing up to 45 pounds
• Ability to operate store equipment including cash registers, pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a retail environment
• Previous management or leadership experience
