Lead Sr Staff Software Engineer — Front End Fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of engineers, serving as both a technical leader and a people manager.
• Drive the technical direction for the platform UI framework and shared design patterns used across the organization.
• Actively review designs, code, and architecture to ensure high quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to develop roadmaps, MVP plans, and execution timelines.
• Mentor team members through regular 1:1s, career growth planning, and effective feedback.
• Define and track business KPIs and user-facing metrics to measure the impact of engineering work.

Requirements

• 13+ years of software development engineering experience.
• 1+ years of experience directly managing people.
• Proficiency in one or more: TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, Java, C, C++, Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and agile methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of software architecture, including component-based architectures and frontend systems design.
• Experience with cloud computing and large-scale, distributed web applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with full-stack web development and frontend framework design.
• Background in data visualization and table-heavy UI systems.
• Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM integration into production applications.
