About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical work, assessments, and individual consultations for clients
- Conduct speech-language screening using age-appropriate methods
- Implement documented treatment plans and protocols
- Document progress toward child and family outcomes
- Conduct assessments and assist with formal documentation
- Schedule activities and prepare charts, records, and data
- Perform maintenance on equipment including augmentative communication devices (AAC)
- Carry out in-home sessions tailored to specific treatment plans
- Attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to case discussions
- Maintain current notes, progress reports, and required certifications
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Certification in California
- Active state SLP License
- ASHA certification
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work on a trans-disciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for working with children on the autism spectrum
- Desire to learn Developmental, Relationship-Based Model (DRBI) principles
