Lead Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical work, assessments, and individual consultations for clients
• Conduct speech-language screening using age-appropriate methods
• Implement documented treatment plans and protocols
• Document progress toward child and family outcomes
• Conduct assessments and assist with formal documentation
• Schedule activities and prepare charts, records, and data
• Perform maintenance on equipment including augmentative communication devices (AAC)
• Carry out in-home sessions tailored to specific treatment plans
• Attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to case discussions
• Maintain current notes, progress reports, and required certifications

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Active Speech-Language Pathology Certification in California
• Active state SLP License
• ASHA certification
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work on a trans-disciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for working with children on the autism spectrum
• Desire to learn Developmental, Relationship-Based Model (DRBI) principles
