Lead Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Act as a Technical Advisor to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and technical founders at high-growth Digital Native Businesses
• Drive new logo acquisition by focusing on high-velocity, prestigious startup accounts
• Build strategic relationships within the UK startup and VC ecosystem, including accelerators and incubators
• Perform strategic technical discovery and high-level architectural road-mapping
• Mentor the Field Engineering team on engaging with CxOs
• Lead technical seminars and develop collateral for Generative AI, LLMs, and modern data stack architecture

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, including leadership roles in high-growth startups (Co-founder, Head of Engineering, or VP level)
• 8+ years of technical experience in Operational Databases, Data Engineering, Data Science, or AI
• 5+ years of familiarity with the startup and VC landscape
• Proven ability to influence C-level executives
• Expertise in modern operational database architectures (OLTP) and real-time data architecture
• Exceptional communication skills for both technical and business audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL-compatible systems
• Experience migrating operational databases (Aurora, RDS, PostgreSQL) to Lakehouse architectures
• Deep expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, and Compound AI Systems
• Knowledge of Agentic Workflows and model fine-tuning
• Established presence in the technical community through public speaking or open-source contributions
