Lead, Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, integration, and testing of embedded computing systems for F-15 mission architecture
• Perform C/C++ software development using existing tools to support mission systems integration
• Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, ensuring operational performance requirements are met
• Create and maintain requirements, software architecture, and design documentation
• Utilize Python or similar languages to develop test frameworks and automation
• Support customer deployments and participate in major design and architecture reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 7+ years of experience
• Active Secret US Security Clearance
• Extensive experience in C/C++ software development
• Proven expertise in embedded system design
• Proficiency in Python or similar languages for test framework development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded security, encryption, and authentication schemes (Radius to LDAP)
• Knowledge of network storage, Gigabit Ethernet, or InfiniBand
• Experience with DevSecOps and test automation
• Background in safety-critical software development (DO-178 B or above)
• Familiarity with Real-time Operating Systems (VxWorks, LynxOS, or Integrity)
• Experience with hardware/software integration and digital engineering handoffs
