Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives and design scalable full-stack solutions
• Design, code, test, debug, and document high-quality Python backend services and React front-end interfaces
• Act as a technical leader by mentoring junior engineers and contributing to architectural decisions
• Develop and maintain robust APIs and ensure seamless integration between services
• Establish and champion engineering best practices, including coding standards and testing protocols
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software in an agile environment
• Optimize system performance and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Robot
• Hands-on experience with modern UI frameworks like React or Angular
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and asynchronous programming
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of observability tools like Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest
