Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives and design large-scale full-stack solutions.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document enterprise-level Java/J2EE applications.
• Develop standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex technology solutions.
• Perform performance tuning of application SQL and PL/SQL.
• Lead development teams by estimating work, allocating tasks, and providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Collaborate with technical experts and senior leadership to resolve complex technical issues.
• Facilitate design sessions and develop complex technical solutions based on established design principles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE development (Core Java, EJB, JMS, JDBC, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with experience in RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) or No-SQL databases.
• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security).
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Proven experience working with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with build and deployment tools including Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and Git.
• Expertise in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) using SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Experience with ORM technologies such as Hibernate or JPA.
• Proficiency in testing automation tools like JUnit and Mockito.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the full project development lifecycle.
