Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and evolution of enterprise observability and telemetry platforms.
• Own the architecture, reliability, and scalability of enterprise logging platforms.
• Design and implement high-volume, resilient log ingestion pipelines across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Build and operationalize agentic AI systems for autonomous log analysis and root-cause hypothesis generation.
• Integrate AI/ML models for anomaly detection, log classification, and predictive alerting.
• Partner with SRE, security, and compliance teams to embed AI-driven insights into incident response workflows.
• Develop complex dashboards, reports, and migration strategies to optimize system performance and reduce costs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Expertise in Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud.
• Experience with Cribl Stream or Edge.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Scala.
• Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Splunk ITSI, service modelling, and episode management.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks or autonomous agents (LLM-based).
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, tool-using agents, and feedback loops.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and observability standards.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Certifications in Splunk, Cribl, or major cloud technologies.
