Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives and develop large-scale engineering solutions for enterprise banking applications.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document high-quality software for strategic business objectives.
• Establish and implement engineering standards and companywide best practices.
• Collaborate with technical experts and senior leadership to resolve complex technical issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead project teams through the full software development lifecycle.
• Ensure all deliverables meet strict quality, security, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java-based web development and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Front-End technologies such as Angular JS or ReactJS.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and associated design patterns.
• Proficiency with containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with globally distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience developing enterprise-scale banking or financial services applications.
• Knowledge of Event Driven Architecture, Domain Driven Development (DDD), and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and uDeploy.
• Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools like Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Proficiency with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
