Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable services and user experiences with strong backend ownership
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Deliver high-quality frontend components using ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Lead and mentor a small team of 2–5 engineers to improve productivity and technical excellence
• Drive engineering best practices through code reviews and system design discussions
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver modules end-to-end
• Debug and resolve production issues to ensure high-performance software

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in full stack software development
• Proficiency in Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot, and ReactJS
• Strong experience with RESTful API design and microservices
• Solid understanding of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB or DynamoDB) databases
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, SNS, or RabbitMQ
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or GraphQL
• Proficiency with caching technologies like Redis
