Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web and cloud-based solutions.
• Drive functional specifications, user stories, epics, and high/low-level designs using established design patterns.
• Manage project delivery by planning schedules, estimating effort, and acting as a local proxy-product owner within an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster a high-performance culture and support technical skill development.
• Ensure product quality through rigorous unit testing, integration strategies, and resolving system-wide design issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications regarding project status and risks.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in coding and technical troubleshooting when required.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of relevant software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Deep development experience in Web full-stack technologies, specifically with a C# .NET background.
• Strong expertise in SQL technologies, including stored procedures, debugging, and database programming.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure or AWS.
• Proficiency in consuming Soap/Restful APIs and working with JSON/XML.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PaaS and SaaS development models.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps/SRE practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with both manual and automated web/cloud testing processes.
• PMI, Agile, or SAFe certifications.
• Microsoft certifications in .NET technologies or Azure.
