Lead Software Engineer - Sr ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities

• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and UI Policies.
• Lead the design and execution of manual and automated testing across ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF), Selenium, or related tools.
• Develop and support enterprise integrations using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub.
• Manage update sets, migration, and the full development lifecycle within a CI/CD and DevOps environment.
• Mentor junior engineers in QA, automation, and ServiceNow configuration best practices.
• Collaborate with global teams and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment to align on requirements and deliverables.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software testing or development.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• Deep proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs) and Flow Designer.
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Event Management.
• Expertise in ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) or other testing tools like Selenium, Postman, or SOAP UI.
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow upgrade lifecycle, patch testing, and defect management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS (ITSM, Discovery, or Event Management).
• ITIL v3/v4 certification.
• Experience working in offshore-onshore delivery models across multiple time zones.
