Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural direction and technical excellence of next-generation frontend applications and micro-frontends.
• Drive architectural decisions, promote modern best practices, and ensure long-term technical viability.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to ensure seamless feature integration.
• Monitor and optimize application performance across various devices and browsers using advanced profiling tools.
• Act as a technical evangelist by representing the team at conferences and publishing technical blog posts.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical tasks and manage cross-team dependencies.

Requirements

• BE/BTech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on web technologies and React.
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ESNext).
• Proficiency in modern CSS techniques, including SCSS, CSS Modules, and CSS-in-JS (Styled Components/Emotion).
• Experience architecting and implementing scalable Micro Frontend solutions.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI).
• Proficiency in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying frontend applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record in performance profiling using tools like React Profiler, Lighthouse, or Webpack Bundle Analyzer.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects or speaking at technical meetups.
• Strong ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
