Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end CRM (Customer Reported Issue) lifecycle, including triage, root-cause analysis, and fix development.
• Lead live troubleshooting sessions with Customer Support and SRE teams to diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Develop and deliver hotfixes, patches, and minor enhancements to ensure platform stability and scalability.
• Design and develop scalable, containerized microservices and analytics dashboards to improve customer health and visibility.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to engineers within the Sustenance & Tools Engineering team.
• Create technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and runbooks, to improve resolution times.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on production systems and customer-facing platforms.
• Deep expertise in building Java/Spring Boot microservices within a SaaS environment.
• Hands-on experience with SSO authentication mechanisms such as SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect.
• Proficiency with containerized and distributed systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and search/analytics platforms like Elasticsearch.
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex, production-scale environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within cybersecurity, risk management, or asset management platforms.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Support, SRE, and Product teams.
