Lead Software Engineer - Python - Front Office Quant Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the Systematic Quoting Platform workstream for EMEA, developing applications for equity derivatives trading and analytics.
• Partner closely with trading desks, technology teams, and Quantitative Research to deliver impactful business solutions.
• Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Automate Front Office processes and functions using advanced technology solutions.
• Maintain and improve the existing technology stack to ensure platform stability.
• Apply disciplined code management, unit testing, and deployment practices across the full project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with systematic trading technology platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with agentic development (ADLC).
• Business knowledge of derivative products, including vanilla options and variance swaps.
• Understanding of pricing and risk evaluation using Greeks.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Proven ability to develop, deploy, and maintain commercial service-oriented applications.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Equities business knowledge or relevant experience in other financial business areas.
• Knowledge of Unix or Linux environments.
• Working knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Experience with project management and service-oriented open source frameworks.
