Lead Software Engineer - Platform Integration

Responsibilities

• Define architecture, patterns, and best practices for enterprise integration and high-scale, fault-tolerant solutions.
• Lead the design and development of enterprise connectors, integration frameworks, and reusable components.
• Oversee real-time integrations using REST/GraphQL and event-streaming systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Drive cloud-native integration designs using Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Own CI/CD strategy, GitOps workflows, and automation pipelines for integration delivery.
• Mentor engineers, lead technical workstreams, and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security partners to align on roadmaps and technical assessments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with event-streaming systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Expertise in API engineering and REST/GraphQL ecosystems.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and SDLC automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience with ETL/ELT solutions and large-scale data integration workloads.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCP.
• Strong understanding of API security, including OAuth, JWT, and encryption.
• Exposure to GenAI integrations in engineering workflows.
• Background in platform engineering or technical risk management.
