Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of a distributed Wavin iConnect platform running on Google Cloud
• Lead development teams, mentor engineers, and establish scalable best practices
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants while building up in-house technical capabilities
• Integrate connected hardware, data pipelines, and UX into a seamless, maintainable platform
• Ensure the reliability and performance of the Wavin iConnect platform
• Work closely with the broader Wavin and Orbia IT community

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of experience in backend programming
• 3+ years of experience with the Go programming language
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture and Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., BigQuery, Spanner, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run)
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with external development partners
• Proficiency in agile development, CI/CD, testing, and modern DevOps practices
• Interest or experience in connected devices, device-to-cloud communication, and remote management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in smart buildings, HVAC, or energy management systems
