Lead Software Engineer, Mobile (Flutter)

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance app features to improve merchant workflows, ensuring the app is efficient, responsive, and user-friendly
• Design clear, scalable programming solutions using best practices such as dependency injection or MVVM
• Analyze and optimize app performance regarding response time, battery use, and storage impact
• Write robust unit and integration tests and collaborate with QA engineers to maintain high quality standards
• Maintain current features, resolve bugs, and ensure technical consistency and long-term performance
• Participate in the on-call rotation for critical mobile issues to provide rapid troubleshooting and fixes

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of mobile application experience designing, launching, and optimizing applications
• Proficiency in Flutter and Dart, including fluency with Flutter-specific tools and libraries
• Experience structuring code using MVVM or reactive state management paradigms
• Familiarity with app performance metrics, crash analytics, and debugging solutions across Flutter, Android, and iOS
• Proven experience writing testable code, creating end-to-end unit tests, and designing APIs
• Ability to manage technical features end-to-end, from initial concept through to release
