Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for translating business requirements into logical program designs.
• Lead the development of integrated, resilient, and scalable enterprise application solutions.
• Drive operational excellence through disaster recovery, capacity planning, and observability.
• Mentor and advise engineers on engineering standards, code quality, and Agile processes.
• Deconstruct complex problems into simple, evolvable solutions.
• Continuously explore and recommend new enterprise software components and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in software development or a related field.
• 6 years of experience in frontend technologies (UI/UX), middleware (microservices/APIs), database technologies, or DevOps.
• 6 years of experience working with iterative Agile development lifecycles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or CIS.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development and Spring Boot.
• Experience with reactive programming in Java (e.g., Project Reactor, Spring WebFlux).
• Extensive experience designing event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps practices (Git, Jenkins).
• Experience leading technical teams and driving architectural decisions.
