Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality production code within an agile team.
• Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Execute technical troubleshooting and creative software solutions to solve complex technical problems.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead communities of practice to drive awareness and use of leading-edge technologies across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with Microservices architecture and AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub, and Jenkins.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and orchestration tools like ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Redis, Cassandra).
• Demonstrated experience leading AI-assisted software development workflows (e.g., Copilot) and validating AI outputs for security and performance.
• Expertise with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or CloudWatch.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect or Developer Associate).
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
• Exposure to emerging cloud technologies and machine learning.
