Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions for the API Marketplace
• Write high-quality production code and review, debug, and improve code written by others
• Build automation and continuous delivery capabilities to improve operational stability and delivery speed
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to evaluate technical designs and drive outcomes
• Promote adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering tools and practices across the team
• Contribute to a culture of inclusion, respect, and engineering excellence

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
• Advanced proficiency in Python or another programming language
• Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD, DevOps, SQL, and Athena
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile delivery practices
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly, with secure validation of outputs
• Knowledge of application resiliency, security, and automation best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Athena and AWS data services such as S3
• Background in cloud-native platforms or technical leadership roles
• Experience coaching engineers on safe and effective AI-assisted workflows
