Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver secure, high-quality production code and technical solutions within the API Marketplace.
• Execute creative software solutions and technical troubleshooting to solve complex problems.
• Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams regarding architectural designs and technical credentials.
• Lead communities of practice to drive awareness and use of leading-edge technologies across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies including AWS (S3, Athena), Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, automation, and continuous delivery methods.
• Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, or troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AWS Athena.
