Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver secure, high-quality production code and technical solutions.
• Lead technical troubleshooting and implement creative software solutions to solve complex problems.
• Drive team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams regarding architectural designs.
• Mentor team members and lead communities of practice to drive awareness of leading-edge technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and advanced understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong expertise in automation, CI/CD, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing technical delivery.
• Practical experience with cloud-native technologies and application resiliency.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools while maintaining security and data sensitivity standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full stack Java developer experience (Java and React).
• Proficiency in designing and building cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of AI and Large Language Models (LLM).
