About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable technology products for privileged access within the Identity and Access Management team.
  • Execute creative software solutions and technical troubleshooting to solve complex architectural problems.
  • Develop high-quality production code and conduct thorough code reviews and debugging.
  • Automate remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software applications.
  • Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to drive architectural improvements.
  • Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
  • Lead communities of practice to promote the use of leading-edge technologies across the engineering organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with a focus on system design and application development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with authentication, authorization, encryption, and access controls (RBAC and ABAC).
  • Proficiency in automation, CI/CD, and agile methodologies across the SDLC.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies and real-time messaging.
  • Practical experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its specific IT systems.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with real-time messaging technologies.
  • Applied practical knowledge of cloud-native platforms and solutions.
