About the role
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Data Scientists and AI Researchers to advance experiments into robust, scalable, and optimized production-grade applications.
- Develop software applications for AI/ML platforms and build Generative AI-based applications, including Agents.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot complex technical solutions using creative problem-solving.
- Lead cross-team evaluation sessions to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs and technical credentials.
- Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
- Mentor engineers within the team and guide researchers and data scientists as they prototype solutions.
- Identify opportunities to automate the remediation of recurring issues to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering with applied Full stack development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Practical experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development, ideally using Terraform.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
- Expertise in automation and continuous integration, delivery, and testing (CI/CD/CT) methods.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Model Development Life Cycle (MDLC).
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and proficiency in architectural frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrable mastery of AI tools to enhance daily productivity and efficiency.
- Experience working within major business-facing integrated application environments (e.g., risk or trading).
- Proven ability to identify issues and challenge the status quo in a proactive manner.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within cross-functional teams.
