About the role

Responsibilities

  • Champion site reliability culture and practices, sharing knowledge through internal forums and communities of practice.
  • Lead initiatives to improve application stability and reliability using data-driven analytics to identify and solve technology bottlenecks.
  • Drive collaboration to establish service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), and error budgets.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during major incidents, performing rapid triage and troubleshooting to minimize business impact.
  • Conduct resiliency design reviews and break down complex technical problems into actionable tasks for other engineers.
  • Lead the adoption of AI-assisted reliability workflows across the SDLC, including CI/CD quality checks and automation.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers within the Corporate Technology team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of applied Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
  • Formal training or certification in SRE concepts.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .Net.
  • Strong experience with observability, including white/black box monitoring, telemetry collection, and SLO alerting.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tooling and continuous delivery practices.
  • Experience with containerization and container orchestration.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI capabilities to improve SRE workflows and incident investigation.
  • Strong networking troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to proactively recognize technical roadblocks and implement innovative solutions.
  • Experience identifying and integrating new technologies to meet design constraints.
  • Proven track record of initiating ideas that solve complex business problems.
