Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions for cloud-native data, backend, and AIML engineering.
• Build the engineering stack required for Data and AIML products, including DevOps and MLOps.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms for complex applications.
• Design and implement data engineering solutions leveraging modern big data technologies.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring design constraints are met.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice to explore emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python and experienced in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proven track record in system design, microservices, distributed systems, and data-intensive applications.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud services, Infrastructure as Code, and containerized application development.
• Familiarity with Cloud Data engineering services and MLOps/LLM technologies.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
• Ability to communicate design choices and technical results clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and AIML engineering within the financial sector.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, EKS, Docker, and MLOps.
• Prior exposure to LLMs, RAG, Knowledge Graph Technologies, OpenSearch, and vector databases.
• Experience working on recommendation systems or other AI/ML systems.
• Experience collaborating directly with data scientists.
